We are based in beautiful Austin, Texas, raising the highest quality Goldendoodles and Mini Goldendoodles. They are not only low to non-shedding dogs but have "family-type temperaments," our highest priority.

About Hill Country Doodles:
My name is Teri and I head up the pack that is Hill Country Doodles along with my husband and daughter.
I am a work-at-home mom who decided to combine my love of animals with my desire 
to stay at home with our 2-year-old daughter. I carefully chose to breed Goldendoodles because of their wonderful qualities - loyalty, intelligence and love of people. I then chose our sweet Lola, mama to last year's puppies (and the most well-behaved member of our family!). Lola is the healthy and very intelligent result of a Golden Retriever mom and standard poodle dad. Noel came next. She's a mini F1, very beautiful & very calm. And, of course, there's Maximo, our mini Poodle. Max is very bright, curious and sweet. He will be the daddy to the next litter - what a bunch that will be!
Raising puppies in our home is also an excellent way to teach our daughter compassion & respect for animals as well as the day-to-day responsibilities that come with caring for them. Our daughter learns to be a gentle caretaker and the puppies benefit by being lovingly and repeatedly handled. We all win!
By the way, we also share our little plot of land with 9 feral cats (all spayed and neutered!), a whole bunch of deer and a slew of frogs and, my daughter's favorite, hundreds of "roll-y pollies"!
